The MaM Babywearing Coat - the ideal companion for any sling or baby carrier

Designed in Finland by babywearing parents, the MaM Coat is suitable for front and back carrying and works with all kinds of non-framed carriers. The removeable panel makes the coat useful during pregnancy as a maternity coat and later for trips without your little one on board, this is truly a long-term investment.

A major change is that the child-side hood is now designed to be removable to be worn separately as a balaclava-style cap. The caphood fastens to the coat with oval buttons and can be adjusted in height with a D-ring and strap construction. Elastic to the rear and face gives the cap a snug fit and the neck closes with Aplix 500, a soft-touch closure that does not catch other materials. Straps can be attached to the hood and secured on the front of the coat for use as a head support for sleeping children.

The MaM Coat is constructed of polyester microfibre outer and double microfleece inner, with an internal PUL layer and taped seams for full waterproofing. The coat comes with detachable hoods for wearer and child and internal 'dickey' to provide maximum weather protection. The large pockets easily take on the basics for your journey, purse or wallet, keys, phone, spare nappy and reduce the need for carrying a bag. The sleeves are designed to be folded back to your perfect length and the bottom of the coat is flared to allow for toddlers' feet!

Machine washable, a must for hard-working outdoor clothing!
