  The wrap-round sling or carrying cloth is the most versatile type of baby-carrier. Usable from birth right through toddler-hood, your baby can be 'worn' on the front, hip or back in various positions to suit the needs of you and your child. Amazonas slings come with instructions and there are lots of websites (soma are listed on our resources page) with good descriptions of different carrying methods.
Wrap-round slings support babies' natural posture, keeping the legs in 'frog' position and the back rounded (babies' backs naturally curve outwards-only until the strength develops to allow them to walk.)
